Connect a non-conformance to the requirement, people, corrective work, controls and evidence needed to resolve it.
| Stage | Who acts | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Draft | Assessment editor | Record the requirement, facts and date identified. Choose classification, owner, independent reviewer and closure target. Link affected controls, competence requirements and related work. |
| Submitted | Named owner | Record immediate containment or justify why none is required. Submit, then move to In progress. |
| In progress | Named owner | Record correction, cause analysis and corrective plan. Define effectiveness criteria, sample and earliest review date. Add linked Actions and use Action allocations for named delivery and review. Complete at least one linked action and close any allocations before requesting Verification. |
| Verification | Named reviewer | Check completion evidence against agreed requirements. Record independent verification, date and decision. Move to Effectiveness review or return to In progress with a reason. |
| Effectiveness review | Named reviewer | After the planned observation period, assess evidence against the criteria. Record result, date, sample evidence and lessons. Only an Effective result permits closure. Return unsuccessful work to In progress with a reason; previous review assertions are cleared. |
| Closed | Named reviewer | Closure is retained with revision history. An assessment owner/company manager can reopen to Draft with a reason and cleared review assertions. Reassign or change scope only after reopening. |
On an assessment audit finding, observation or obligation, choose Raise NCR. The source is linked; using the button again opens the first existing linked NCR. This is a convenience link, not a global duplicate detector. Other sources can be selected in the NCR form. Links are restricted to records in the current assessment.
Use Add action on the NCR row to prefill its source link. Upload supporting documents through View / upload evidence after saving. Shared actions remain the delivery record; the NCR review evaluates the combined corrective outcome. Action allocations have their own verification and effectiveness workflow, with effectiveness reviews available from NCR navigation.
Open Shared work queue from module navigation. Outstanding assessment work is ordered by due date, with overdue counts and links to records. NCRs awaiting effectiveness use their planned effectiveness date. Actions use their delivery due date. Approved/terminal records remain in their registers. The queue is assessment-scoped, not a company-wide personnel register.
